A sacred ceremony will take place in Chicago: Lusuud Tahilga - an ancient ritual honoring the spirits of water 🌊
What is Lusuud Tahilga?
This is a Buddhist offering ritual (torma - consecrated food) to nagas, powerful water spirits and guardians of nature.
- 🐉 Nagas are believed to inhabit rivers, lakes, and springs
- 🌍 Pollution (trash, waste, fires) disturbs them
- ⚡ Their anger is believed to manifest as illness, misfortune, droughts, or floods
Purpose of the ritual
- Support health (especially skin, kidney, and nervous system)
- Bring harmony and well-being to families
- Cleanse negative influences
Ceremonies included
- Lusuud ritual
- Green Tara (Dara Ekhe) prayers
- Hiimori (wind horse) - for luck and success (you can bring prayer flags)
- Khamchu - Nagbo
- Resolving conflicts and disputes
- Protection from negative influences
- Mental and spiritual cleansing
- Support in legal matters

- Serzhem (milk - no alcohol)
